Order Agreement.

By submitting an order form through our website, you are entering into a binding agreement to collect and pay for the cake as specified. Once your order has been submitted and accepted by us, it is considered final.

Cancellations.

Things happen, we get it! We are more than happy to work with you to reschedule your order if needed. In cases where you may need to cancel your order we ask that 72 hours notice is given otherwise a cancellation fee may be applied.

Cake Approval/ Changes & Refunds.

To ensure your complete satisfaction, we offer you the opportunity to review a picture of your cake for approval prior to pickup. Alternatively, at the time of pickup, you will have the chance to inspect your cake and request any necessary changes. Please note that once the cake has been taken from our kitchen, no further changes can be made.

In the rare event that a mistake has been made on our part, we will work with you to resolve the issue. If a satisfactory resolution cannot be reached, a refund may be offered, but only in the case of an error made by us. Please understand that we cannot offer refunds or make adjustments once the cake has been picked up, except in cases where a mistake was made by our team.

Order and Pickup Communication.

We strive to make the order and pickup process as seamless as possible. However, due to high demand, our communication may occasionally be sporadic. Once your order is placed and confirmed, Maddie will typically prioritise messages related to the current week’s orders, as those are the ones she will be actively working on at that time.

Please be patient as we work hard to accommodate all our customers and ensure that your cake is prepared to perfection. If you have any urgent questions or concerns, feel free to reach out, and we will do our best to address them as promptly as possible.

Maddie’s admin hours are from 8pm-9pm weeknights.

Pickup Details.

By placing your order your committing to pickup your order from our Hadspen kitchen, if you are unable to collect from our location a delivery agreement & fee must be discussed prior to your order confirmation.

Storage & Refrigeration – Terms & Conditions

  1. Refrigeration Requirement
    All cakes, cupcakes, slices, and other products supplied by You, Me, and Gluten Free must be kept refrigerated unless otherwise stated. This is essential to maintain product quality, food safety, and structural integrity.
  2. Customer Responsibility
    Once an order has been collected or delivered, the customer is responsible for ensuring the product is stored correctly.
    • Cakes must be kept in a refrigerator at 4°C or below.
    • Keep the cake refrigerated until 1–2 hours before serving, depending on weather conditions.
  3. Warm Weather Conditions
    In warm or humid weather, cakes can soften or shift if left out for extended periods.
    You, Me, and Gluten Free is not responsible for any damage caused by failure to keep the cake refrigerated or by environmental conditions outside our control.
  4. Transporting Cakes
    Cakes should be transported in a cool, air-conditioned vehicle and placed on a flat surface. Avoid leaving the cake in a warm car or direct sunlight at any time.
  5. Liability After Pickup/Delivery
    Once the order leaves our care, You, Me, and Gluten Free accepts no responsibility for:
    • Heat damage
    • Melting
    • Structural collapse
    • Spoilage due to improper storage
  6. Shelf Life
    For best quality, cakes should be consumed within 48–72 hours, provided they have been stored correctly in refrigeration.
  7. Customer Acknowledgement
    By placing an order, the customer acknowledges and accepts these storage and refrigeration requirements.
